Fifty-seven University College of the North (UCN) students from the Thompson campus were honoured at the school’s convocation ceremony on June 20 in R.D. Parker Collegiate’s Letkemann Theatre. Students from six different faculties were presented with degrees, diplomas and certificates. Among the special guests in attendance were MKO Grand Chief David Harper and Thompson NDP MLA Steve Ashton. UCN Interim President Konrad Jonasson and UCN Chancellor Edwin Jebb congratulate a graduate.

QUESTION OF THE WEEK
- In much of southern Canada, Victoria Day weekend, known also simply as the May-24 weekend, marks the unofficial early kickoff to summer with provincial parks full of campers. What about here in Northern Manitoba?
