Three Thompson residents were hospitalized following a stabbing on Princeton Drive in the early morning of June 22. One remains in hospital with stab wounds.
Thompson RCMP responded to a report of a stabbing at an apartment on Princeton Drive around 4 a.m., Cpl. Sean Grunewald said in a press release issued at 4:07 p.m. June 22. A 38-year-old male, a 26-year old male and a 21-year old female were all transported to Thompson General Hospital. Two of the victims have since been released, while the 38-year-old man is still being treated and is in stable condition. The victims' names have not been released. Two suspects, a 22-year old female and a 19-year old male, were located at another residence and arrested, Grunewald said, The investigation is ongoing and being carried out by the Thompson RCMP detachment, with assistance from the RCMP Thompson forensic Identification section and the RCMP major crime unit.
