Russell Peters plays some sweet tunes on his guitar during the Juniper Centre’s 1960’s themed Gaiety Night on May 26. Close to 160 people showed up in bright colors and hippie attire for a night of music, comedy, food and fun. Nearly $20,000 was raised through donations, ticket sales and auctions.

QUESTION OF THE WEEK
- In much of southern Canada, Victoria Day weekend, known also simply as the May-24 weekend, marks the unofficial early kickoff to summer with provincial parks full of campers. What about here in Northern Manitoba?
