Natasha Gerouard holds her 18-inch braid of hair, which she had cut off and donated to Cancer Care Manitoba. Natasha’s hair will be used to make wigs for patients undergoing chemotherapy. Gerouard was born and raised in Thompson, her father Ray Johnson is a Vale employee and her mother Kathy works in the emergency ward at Thompson General Hospital.

QUESTION OF THE WEEK
- In much of southern Canada, Victoria Day weekend, known also simply as the May-24 weekend, marks the unofficial early kickoff to summer with provincial parks full of campers. What about here in Northern Manitoba?
