Wabowden RCMP arrested a 25 year old man who was in possession of cocaine on May 12 at 2:30 am.
In the early morning of May 12, the RCMP approached a man who was walking with open liquor, and was then found to be in possession of a bag of cocaine.
Reginald Mead of Wabowden was arrested and since been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking under the controlled drugs and substances act.
During the investigation, cash, drug paraphernalia and 11 grams of cocaine with an approximate street value of $1,400 were all seized by Wabowden RCMP.
Mead was released from police custody on a recognizance to appear in Thompson Provincial Court on June 15, 2012.
