Joseph Krystal, 40, of Wabowden, has been found dead "after an extensive search," Cpl. Miles Hiebert, of RCMP media relations for "D" Division in Winnipeg, said May 5. "His death is not considered suspicious, and no further information will be released," Hiebert said. "The RCMP would like to thank the Civil Air Search And Rescue Association with their assistance in this matter."
Krystal was last seen Saturday, April 28 around supper-time in Wabowden and reported missing on May 1 at about 9:15 pm. He had telephone contact the morning of April 30, but had not been in contact with family or friends since, police said.
