From left to right, Mayor Tim Johnston, city manager Gary Cepettelli, recreation director Darlene McLeod, community liaison Laura Finlay and facilities manager Jim English, representing the City of Thompson, accept a $15,000 donation from the Thompson Community Foundation, represented by Tammy ?? and Colin Bonnycastle Jan. 31 at City Hall. The money will go towards a 940-square-foot indoor playground for children 12 and under that will be located in the new Thompson Regional Community centre when it opens in 2012.
