Connect 2 Independent Mortgage Solutions breaks into mortgage industry in Thompson

Jordan Crouch, a relatively new Thompson resident who has been in the city just around a year, is moving ahead full force with Connect 2 Independent Mortgage Solutions – an independent mortgage solution business in connection with Manitoba-based Avenue Mortgages.

Before Crouch moved to Thompson she lived in Winnipeg for roughly a year, and before that she was living and working in the United Kingdom. Crouch’s catchphrase for her mortgage solution company is “Do not throw your money away … why pay more for the keys to your door?” She works as an independent mortgage consultant, in conjunction with the real estate market. She says her main duty is to try to make the process of buying a home a “pleasurable, exciting experience.”

Crouch says her background in financial services allows her to help people make their home purchase with the least amount of stress possible and to secure mortgage arrangements for people tailored to their specific needs. Mortgage brokers work with the client and not lending institutions – which Crouch says ensures they always act on the client’s best interest.

There is no cost for people to use a mortgage broker. Rather, costs are met by the lending institution when the mortgage is placed. Crouch says a mortgage broker is able to access many lending institutions across the country, allowing the client more options to fit their circumstances. She also says a lower interest rate can be secured, which could end up saving clients thousands of dollars in mortgage payments.
