46-year-old man beaten and repeatedly stabbed at Cree Road residence

A 46-year-old Thompson man was rushed to hospital Feb. 4 after being severely beaten and stabbed multiple times.

On Feb. 4, at around 12:45 p.m., Thompson RCMP received a report of an injured male outside of a Cree Road residence.

The RCMP, along with the Thompson EMS, located the man and took him to Thompson General Hospital in non-life threatening condition.

The investigation later revealed that the man was attacked in a nearby residence. No arrests have yet been made and the victim’s identity is remaining under wraps for the time being.

Thompson RCMP continues to investigate with the assistance of the Thompson Forensic Identifications Section and the Winnipeg Serious Crime Section.
