Crone's MJHL rights change hands

The playing rights of former Norman Northstar Jordan Crone, 19, were traded from the Winnipeg South Blues to the Steinbach Pistons for future considerations in a Manitoba Junior Hockey League transaction Oct. 7.

Crone scored 21 goals and 30 assists in 35 games with the junior B Arborg Ice Dawgs of the Keystone Junior Hockey league in the 2008-2009 season. He was eighth in league scoring and won his team's rookie of the year award.

A native of Flin Flon, Crone's last season with the Norman Northstars midget AAA squad was 2007-2008, when he scored 13 goals and added 13 assists in 34 games.
